Build a quarterly review deck from a workbook
A review deck needs consistent periods and definitions across every chart.

A review deck needs consistent periods and definitions across every chart. Extract the key metrics once and reuse the same source table throughout.
Prepare the slide brief
Supply the audience, decision to support, time available and approved source material. Ask for a content outline before detailed slide production when the story is still uncertain. Generating PPTX requires compatible tools. Review the original presentation and, when rendering tools are available, inspect slide images for clipping and small text; text extraction alone cannot verify a deck.
Inputs for this workflow: A reviewed quarterly workbook and metric definitions.
Work through the task
- Freeze the reporting period and units.
- Select changes that explain the business question.
A brief you can adapt
Create a deck with an overview, metric trends, exceptions and decisions. Include source sheet references in notes and a data appendix.
The filenames above are examples. Replace them with your actual inputs and destination before submitting the task.
Review the deliverable
Reconcile the slide numbers against the reviewed workbook and inspect chart labels at presentation size.
Where this approach can fail
Do not mix year-to-date and quarterly measures without explicit labels.
