Use the account password controls on the intended service and then verify sign-in deliberately. Keep AI-provider credentials separate; changing the marketplace password does not update them.
Before you begin
The marketplace account belongs to the server address you sign into. It is separate from your AI provider login and from the local desktop office. Account access does not include model credits. Check the current pricing page before assuming checkout or a paid subscription is available.
Steps
- Confirm the server and account identity.
- Use the password-change form.
- Check subsequent sign-in.
- Review recovery access.
Example
If your CLI still reports provider authentication errors afterward, fix the CLI login separately instead of repeatedly changing the marketplace password.
Check the result
Confirm that the account page is reachable using the intended credentials and that no old password is saved in your own notes.
Limits and troubleshooting
Do not put passwords in task prompts or diagnostic logs. Account authentication should remain in the dedicated account controls.
