How do I check task progress from chat?

Send status or help in the paired private conversation. Status reports up to five recent tasks for that connection and pairing, while the desktop remains the place to review detailed files and approvals.

Before you begin

Messaging submits work to an existing desktop teammate. Keep OfficeCubs running, connected to the internet and able to use its AI tool. Check both the provider connection and the task result: a bot connection can be healthy while the selected work engine still needs attention.

Steps

1. Confirm you are chatting with the paired bot.
2. Send status or /status.
3. Open the corresponding task in OfficeCubs for full detail.

Example

A bot summary saying a task needs input is a cue to inspect its terminal on the desktop, not permission to approve an unseen command remotely.

Check the result

Match the task summary to the selected teammate and task in the office.

Limits and troubleshooting

For Telegram, Discord and Slack, task replies are summaries rather than general generated-file uploads. Keep file review in the desktop app.
