Why is my connected bot not responding?

Inspect pairing, connection state and desktop task execution separately.

Inspect pairing, connection state and desktop task execution separately. A bot may be online but ignore an unpaired sender, or accept work whose AI tool then needs attention.

Before you begin

Messaging submits work to an existing desktop teammate. Keep OfficeCubs running, connected to the internet and able to use its AI tool. Check both the provider connection and the task result: a bot connection can be healthy while the selected work engine still needs attention.

Steps

  1. Check that OfficeCubs is awake and online.
  2. Use the paired private chat rather than a group.
  3. Inspect the provider’s connection error.
  4. Look for the task and any terminal prompt.

Example

If Telegram reports a competing poller, stop the other program using that token rather than creating repeated task submissions.

Check the result

Send one harmless test after resolving the cause and confirm one task was created.

Limits and troubleshooting

These adapters do not support remote tool approvals. Telegram, Discord and Slack also ignore unsupported non-text inputs instead of treating them as normal task attachments.
