How do I create my first recurring task?

Run the task manually first, then schedule the proven brief with an explicit timezone. Begin with a small output that you can inspect after its first scheduled execution.

Before you begin

Schedules are executed by the desktop app on your computer. The marketplace server does not take over when your laptop sleeps. Test the underlying task manually before scheduling it, and inspect the next run time in the selected timezone after saving or editing the schedule.

Steps

1. Open Schedules.
2. Select the teammate and task brief.
3. Set timing and timezone.
4. Save and review the next run time.

Example

Schedule a daily draft from a local status-notes file, with output named for the reporting date and no external sending action.

Check the result

Keep the computer awake for the first run and inspect the resulting task in Task board.

Limits and troubleshooting

Scheduling does not install missing tools, refresh unavailable source data or keep a sleeping computer executing tasks.
