How do I run my first desktop task?

Start with one input file and one output file. This makes it easy to tell whether setup, file access and the work engine all function before giving your teammate a larger assignment.

Before you begin

OfficeCubs is a desktop application. The public console manages accounts; it does not run the desktop task engine in your browser. Public signed installers are still marked coming soon on the download page. These instructions apply to an available desktop build, including a build from the project source.

Steps

1. Check the AI tool in Office settings.
2. In Discover, read a role and choose Add to my office.
3. Choose a work environment and submit a short brief.

Example

Read notes.txt and create outputs/actions.md with columns for action, owner and due date. Write Unknown when the notes do not name an owner. Do not change notes.txt.

Check the result

Open actions.md in Results and compare every action against the original notes.

Limits and troubleshooting

The demo cannot perform this task. Keep the real desktop app open until execution finishes.
