How do I prepare Docker for a task?
Docker must be installed, running and able to access OfficeCubs's data directory.

Docker must be installed, running and able to access OfficeCubs’s data directory. The first preparation downloads and builds the shared sandbox image before tasks can use it.
Before you begin
A workspace determines where a teammate executes work and saves files. The environment is captured with a task, so changing a teammate later does not rewrite an earlier task. Local execution and Docker isolation have different permissions; read the selected mode before submitting real project data.
Steps
- Start your Docker engine.
- Choose Prepare sandbox in OfficeCubs.
- Wait for image preparation to finish.
- Try a small task with one attachment.
Example
On Docker Desktop or Colima, a data directory outside shared locations may need an explicit file-sharing setting before a workspace can mount.
Check the result
Read the preparation result and the task’s container-start events. Confirm that a real output file is created.
Limits and troubleshooting
OfficeCubs does not silently fall back to host execution when Docker is unavailable. Fix the sandbox error or deliberately choose another mode.
