Getting started

What happens when a website opens OfficeCubs?

A supported desktop link opens a confirmation or setup flow.

A supported desktop link opens a confirmation or setup flow. It does not authorize an account or start a task merely because the browser opened the app.

Before you begin

OfficeCubs is a desktop application. The public console manages accounts; it does not run the desktop task engine in your browser. Public signed installers are still marked coming soon on the download page. These instructions apply to an available desktop build, including a build from the project source.

Steps

  1. Review the browser’s application-opening prompt.
  2. Check the marketplace or messaging provider shown in OfficeCubs.
  3. Continue setup only for the intended destination.

Example

A teammate profile link should bring you to a recruitment confirmation for that profile. If sign-in is required, complete it before reviewing the selected role again.

Check the result

Confirm the server address, profile and workspace before the final recruitment or task action.

Limits and troubleshooting

Without a registered desktop app, the browser may do nothing. A teammate package can be imported later, but it does not install the desktop application.
