How do I change a teammate's workspace?

Finish or stop queued and running tasks before changing the teammate’s work environment. The new selection affects subsequent tasks and does not migrate old deliverables.

Before you begin

A workspace determines where a teammate executes work and saves files. The environment is captured with a task, so changing a teammate later does not rewrite an earlier task. Local execution and Docker isolation have different permissions; read the selected mode before submitting real project data.

Steps

  1. Review the teammate’s active tasks.
  2. End work using the current environment.
  3. Open the profile’s workspace edit control.
  4. Select the new folder or sandbox.

Example

When moving from a project copy to a new output directory, keep the old folder intact until you have checked every needed deliverable.

Check the result

Start a new small task and verify its output path. Older task records should still describe their original environment.

Limits and troubleshooting

Changing a workspace does not move or delete existing files. A history entry retains its saved task environment.
