Will messages sent while OfficeCubs is closed run later?

Replay behavior differs by provider. Telegram resumes from a saved polling cursor subject to provider retention, while Discord and Slack may not replay messages sent while the desktop was offline.

Before you begin

Messaging submits work to an existing desktop teammate. Keep OfficeCubs running, connected to the internet and able to use its AI tool. Check both the provider connection and the task result: a bot connection can be healthy while the selected work engine still needs attention.

Steps

1. Keep the app online when expecting tasks.
2. After downtime, inspect the connection and recent tasks.
3. Check for missing requests before resending.
4. Avoid sending the same task repeatedly.

Example

A Slack DM sent while the laptop was off should not be assumed queued in OfficeCubs. Check Task board and deliberately resubmit if it is absent.

Check the result

Match incoming requests to actual tasks and review any duplicate-looking result summaries.

Limits and troubleshooting

The desktop connection is not a cloud relay. Durable local receipts reduce duplicate execution for replayed events, but a retried outgoing reply can still appear twice.
