How does account recovery work?

Recovery uses the one-time code you previously generated. A successful recovery resets the password and revokes old sessions, so you will need to sign in again where appropriate.

Before you begin

The marketplace account belongs to the server address you sign into. It is separate from your AI provider login and from the local desktop office. Account access does not include model credits. Check the current pricing page before assuming checkout or a paid subscription is available.

Steps

1. Open recovery on the original marketplace.
2. Use the saved code with the required account information.
3. Set the new password.
4. Sign in again.

Example

If a desktop session stops working after recovery, reauthenticate with the new password rather than treating the invalidated session as a server outage.

Check the result

Verify sign-in with the new password and make a new recovery code after access is restored.

Limits and troubleshooting

There is no email password-reset flow. Losing both the password and recovery code cannot be resolved automatically by the app.
