Does changing a cub's appearance change its skills?

Character studio changes the teammate’s visual appearance. Its species, colors and accessories do not select the AI model, grant tools or alter the working guide.

Before you begin

A teammate combines a role, working guide and selected resources. Character appearance does not determine the AI model. Local employees, creator drafts and marketplace publications are separate records: changing one does not automatically replace all the others. Review the relevant record before starting a task.

Steps

1. Open a teammate’s portrait or Edit character.
2. Adjust the look and preview its states.
3. Save character for an existing employee.
4. Inspect the role separately if behavior needs to change.

Example

You can give a spreadsheet analyst a different outfit without changing its file tools or data-review instructions.

Check the result

Check both the saved portrait and Overview so visual changes are not confused with configuration changes.

Limits and troubleshooting

For a new role, Use this look applies the appearance to the form; you still need to save that form to keep it.
