How do I import a teammate package?

Import a supported .officecubs.json package, review its fields and then choose whether to use the role. Importing assigns a local identity and does not automatically execute the guide.

Before you begin

A teammate combines a role, working guide and selected resources. Character appearance does not determine the AI model. Local employees, creator drafts and marketplace publications are separate records: changing one does not automatically replace all the others. Review the relevant record before starting a task.

Steps

1. Open Discover’s import action.
2. Select the teammate package.
3. Read its working guide, deliverables, license and source.
4. Recruit it into a deliberately selected workspace.

Example

A shared report-writer package should contain role instructions and examples, not your colleague’s account or their entire project folder.

Check the result

Inspect the imported guide before running a small test with non-sensitive sample input.

Limits and troubleshooting

The supported package is JSON, not an archive or installation script. Unknown fields do not grant arbitrary workspace paths or install hooks.
