How do I choose a model for a teammate?
Model selection belongs to the chosen work engine and its available configuration.

Model selection belongs to the chosen work engine and its available configuration. Inspect the teammate’s advanced setup and use only a model your provider account can access.
Before you begin
A work engine is the CLI process that performs the task. OfficeCubs supplies the task context and records its progress, while authentication, model availability and usage charges come from your chosen provider. Successful detection is a setup check, not proof that every model or task will work.
Steps
- Choose the desired work engine first.
- Review the model setting and provider configuration.
- Run a short task after saving.
Example
If a provider rejects a model name, verify the configured provider and model identifier rather than repeatedly retrying the same task.
Check the result
The task should start without a model-not-found or authorization error. Review quality separately from connectivity.
Limits and troubleshooting
OfficeCubs does not collect token costs in the teammate Usage view. Check the provider account for model billing.
