Tasks and results

How do I review a completed task?

Open the actual deliverable and compare it with the brief and source material.

Open the actual deliverable and compare it with the brief and source material. Completed reports a tool execution outcome; it does not certify accuracy, calculations or presentation quality.

Before you begin

Task status describes execution, not whether the result is factually correct or ready to publish. Keep the original input and inspect the actual output file. Task details, results and execution events provide different evidence; use them together when deciding whether to accept, revise or retry work.

Steps

  1. Open Work history and select the task.
  2. Choose Results and preview supported content.
  3. Open the original file in its normal application.
  4. Check the acceptance criteria.

Example

For a sales summary, verify the reporting period, totals, exclusions and cited source rows before forwarding the narrative to anyone.

Check the result

Every requested deliverable should exist, open correctly and match the brief. Record any missing evidence for a follow-up.

Limits and troubleshooting

Office document text previews omit some layout, images, animations and formula behavior. They cannot replace final file review.
