How do I create a recovery code?

Generate a one-time recovery code from account controls after confirming your password. Store it somewhere private and retrievable if you lose normal sign-in access.

Before you begin

The marketplace account belongs to the server address you sign into. It is separate from your AI provider login and from the local desktop office. Account access does not include model credits. Check the current pricing page before assuming checkout or a paid subscription is available.

Steps

1. Open account controls on the correct marketplace.
2. Choose the recovery-code action.
3. Confirm your current password.
4. Save the resulting code securely.

Example

Keep the code in a trusted password manager rather than in a teammate guide, task brief or public project file.

Check the result

Confirm you can locate the saved code without exposing it in a screenshot or task log.

Limits and troubleshooting

Generating a new code replaces the previous one. Do not assume an older saved code remains valid.
