Why did my scheduled task not produce a report?

Check the chain from scheduled submission to execution and file creation.

Check the chain from scheduled submission to execution and file creation. A schedule can be valid while the machine is asleep, the task is queued or the AI tool has lost authorization.

Before you begin

Schedules are executed by the desktop app on your computer. The marketplace server does not take over when your laptop sleeps. Test the underlying task manually before scheduling it, and inspect the next run time in the selected timezone after saving or editing the schedule.

Steps

  1. Review the next run and timezone.
  2. Check whether OfficeCubs was running.
  3. Find the created task in Task board.
  4. Inspect engine, workspace and output errors.

Example

If a task exists but is queued behind another job in the same folder, solve the workspace contention rather than recreating the schedule.

Check the result

Run the same brief manually after fixing the underlying cause and verify the actual report.

Limits and troubleshooting

Creating duplicate schedules while troubleshooting can cause repeated work later. Keep one intended schedule and inspect its tasks.
