How do I connect Telegram to a teammate?

Connect a dedicated Telegram bot and pair your private conversation with it.

Connect a dedicated Telegram bot and pair your private conversation with it. OfficeCubs uses outbound polling, so this connection does not require you to deploy a public callback server.

Before you begin

Messaging submits work to an existing desktop teammate. Keep OfficeCubs running, connected to the internet and able to use its AI tool. Check both the provider connection and the task result: a bot connection can be healthy while the selected work engine still needs attention.

Steps

  1. Choose Telegram in Messaging apps and open the official BotFather setup.
  2. Create a bot and put its token in the protected field.
  3. Choose a teammate and Verify & connect.
  4. Send the displayed pairing command in the private bot chat.

Example

After pairing, send: Draft three subject lines for the attached project already in your workspace. Start with a task that does not need a remote approval.

Check the result

Check that the task appears for the selected teammate and that the private chat receives its result summary.

Limits and troubleshooting

Do not reuse a token actively polled by another program. OfficeCubs does not remove another application’s webhook automatically.
