Edit the schedule’s brief for future submissions and test the new wording manually. Running or historical tasks should be evaluated using the context they captured when created.

Before you begin

Schedules are executed by the desktop app on your computer. The marketplace server does not take over when your laptop sleeps. Test the underlying task manually before scheduling it, and inspect the next run time in the selected timezone after saving or editing the schedule.

Steps

  1. Open the intended schedule.
  2. Update filenames, instructions or timing.
  3. Save and review the next run.
  4. Try the revised brief as a small manual task.

Example

When a weekly CSV gains a new column, update the expected schema and explicitly define how that field should affect the report.

Check the result

Inspect the first task created after the edit and verify that it used the new input expectations.

Limits and troubleshooting

Editing a schedule does not fix old reports. Regenerate a historical report only from the appropriate saved source snapshot.
