Does logging out remove my local office?

Remote sign-out does not change the snapshots of employees already recruited to your computer. Local workspaces, files and task history are distinct from the account’s remote session.

Before you begin

The marketplace account belongs to the server address you sign into. It is separate from your AI provider login and from the local desktop office. Account access does not include model credits. Check the current pricing page before assuming checkout or a paid subscription is available.

Steps

1. Review any active work before signing out.
2. Sign out of the marketplace.
3. Inspect the local office and existing output folder.
4. Sign back in when remote features are needed.

Example

A downloaded role can remain in your office after its remote catalog entry changes or the marketplace session ends.

Check the result

Confirm the specific files you need are still at their saved paths and that the local engine is separately authorized.

Limits and troubleshooting

Remote account access does not act as a backup of every local file. Keep your own backup for important workspaces.
