Why does the demo not create real files?

The browser demo is an interface preview with example teammates. It does not connect to real models, execute local tasks or provide proof that your computer is ready to run OfficeCubs.

Before you begin

OfficeCubs is a desktop application. The public console manages accounts; it does not run the desktop task engine in your browser. Public signed installers are still marked coming soon on the download page. These instructions apply to an available desktop build, including a build from the project source.

Steps

1. Use the demo to explore navigation and task views.
2. Open the real desktop app when ready to work.
3. Check the work engine and recruit a real teammate there.

A sample completed task in demo mode shows how Results looks. It is not a document saved to your own project folder.

In the real office, submit a small task and locate its physical output file.

Limits and troubleshooting

Demo teammates and credentials are not transferred by messaging handoff. Select a real employee before connecting a provider.
